The Black & White Ball NYE 2019

The Subway Soul Club saw in the new year at Ceremony Brooklyn with a mod Black & White Ball inspired by 1960's Brooklynite Truman Capote.

Scroll down for photos, DJs and and musical morsels from the night!

Capote's glamorous masked balls drew the glitterati of 1960's society; Jackie Kennedy, Frank Sinatra, Penelope Tree and Andy Warhol. Subway Soul Club guests danced the night away dressed in black and white evening and cocktail wear while channeling Audrey Hepburn, Mary Quant and James Bond surrounded by an abundance of black and white party decor including over 200 balloons and more space-age silver than the moon landing!

Masked revellers and James Bond wannabes at Subway Soul Club's New Years Eve party in Brooklyn.

While masked revellers in tuxedos and sequined dresses danced to 1960's Northern Soul, Motown and Go-Go grooves, the walls were projected with black and white 1960s movies and a glitter ball sent sparkles around the room. Scroll down for more photos from the night.

Our particularly delicious DJ line up of Peanut Butter Brown (Uptown Getdown) and One Mint Julep (Soul Night). Phast Phreddie The Boogaloo Omnibus had everyone shaking (not stirred) while  hostess with the hostess Lady Dawn provided the sauce!
